A big beautiful wrap that’s a joy to knit and super cosy to wear. Pretty ribbon and lace details add to its’ charm. 


Pattern Notes:
The wrap is made from two panels and grafted together at the centre.
Stitch count will fluctuate over the lace pattern rows.
There are no charts in this pattern, all repeats are written in full.

Please note: Yarn is held doubled throughout

‘Highland Wool’ (Light Fingering; 100% wool; 275 metres/300 yards per 50g skein) shown here in ‘Sky’ x 3 (total of 825 metres)
Isager ‘Alpaca 1’ (Lace; 100% alpaca; 400 metres/437 yards per 50g skein) shown here in ‘7s/Medium Natural Brown’ x 2
(total of 800 metres) 

Needles:
4mm (UK 8 / US 6)

Notions:
Stitch holder
Four 70cm / 27” lengths of ribbon. Shown here using Monahan dyed silk ribbon twist in colour 'Latte'.
Two Monahan Ribbon twists are enough for what you need for the whole wrap.

TENSION:
22 sts and 30 rows on 4mm needles over 10cm / 4” in garter-stripe pattern with yarn held doubled and after blocking. Gauge is not crucial.

FINAL BLOCKED MEASUREMENTS:
41.5cm x 170cm / 16.5” x 67”
